Q.1- Do your attars contain alcohol?

Answer: No. Every Mandakani attar is oil-based, carried in a  pure Indian sandalwood (Santalum album) base.  There is no ethanol, no denatured alcohol, and no synthetic fixatives in any of our products. This makes them suitable for daily wear, prayer, and sensitive skin — and for those who prefer alcohol-free fragrances for personal or religious reasons.

Our traditional attars last 8 to 12 hours on skin  with two drops applied to pulse points. The oil base settles into the skin and warms with body heat, so the scent deepens through the day rather than fading. Unlike alcohol-based sprays, attar does not evaporate — it lingers.

Two drops are sufficient for most wearers. Apply to inner wrists, behind the ears, or at the hollow of the throat using the glass dabber. Do not rub — let the oil rest on the skin. Attar is intimate and skin-close; it is not meant to announce itself across a room.

Our attars are free from alcohol, parabens, synthetic fixatives, and animal-derived ingredients. They are vegan and cruelty-free. However, as with any fragrance product, we recommend a patch test on the inner forearm before first use — wait 24 hours before full application. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Orders are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days from our Kannauj workshop. Standard delivery across India takes 4 to 7 business days depending on your location. Express shipping options are available at checkout. You will receive a tracking link by SMS and email once your order is dispatched.

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery if the product is unused, sealed, and in its original packaging. Opened bottles cannot be returned due to the nature of the product. To initiate a return, WhatsApp us at +91-9918179623 with your order number and reason for return with valid proof. Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days of receiving the returned product.

Keep the bottle upright in a cool, dark place — away from direct sunlight and heat above 40 degrees Celsius. Do not store near windows or in the bathroom. A well-stored attar does not degrade — it matures with age, becoming richer in character over time. This is one of the qualities that distinguishes a true attar from an alcohol-based spray.

Yes. All Mandakani attars are hand-packed in presentation gift boxes, sealed before dispatch. We offer curated gift hampers starting from Rs. 499 (Snehadhara) to Rs. 3,500 and above (Maharaja). Our products are suitable for Diwali, Eid, Raksha Bandhan, Karwa Chauth, weddings, anniversaries, and corporate gifting occasions.
